Today we have more and more different brands that produce high quality wings for wing foiling. Some brands produce wings with handles and others with booms. What is your choice?
Duotone about their concept with the new Wing Echo – which comes with a boom in two different sizes:
“Boom for precise handling (two sizes) (Two sizes of booms ensure the perfect setup and the most rigig connection to the foil wing possible, therfore the handling is simply amazing.)“

For sure both versions of the Wing comes with pros and cons. Do you prefer Wings with boom or handles?
Boom or Handles?
My background is windsurfing and i did my first steps wing foiling with a wing with handles. This was new for me and i missed the flexibility of the boom. Sometimes i wanted to grab there, where i couldn´t find a handle. Later i also tried to wing foil with a Wing with boom. For me i prefer the boom a lot more. It feels really close to windsurfing and i can grab anywhere where i want. It might be a bit heavier but for me that doesn´t matter. My choice is the boom.
pref handles, if the wing has them where I like them. on some wing the straps are in the wrong place so in that
case I would like a boom.
some wings have super comfortable handles with great grip, ie the ozone wasp
