The first event of the new Wing Foil Tour was held in Cecina, Italy (Tuscany) on the 5. and 6. September 2020. The mistral wind was blowing with constant 15 / 16 knots – perfect conditions for a good wing foil race.
The course of the slalom race was developed on three buoys. The athletes launched and could go downwind at full speed. This made it an exciting wing foil slalom race.
Seeing the competitors from the start, and fight at every jibe mark, was really exciting and a great show for the large audience at the beach.

The result of the slalom race ended with the young Riccardo Zorzi first classified, Paolo Migliorini (ProRider RRD) second classified, and the great Roberto Ricci (RRD) third classified.
The next event of the tour will take place in Malcesine, Lake Garda, Italy on the 19 / 20 September. More events are coming up – all over the world.

It was another perfect day of poniente wind in Tarifa today for Day 03 at the Tarifa Wing Pro Three of competition. The windspeed increased in the early afternoon, and by 3pm the conditions were suitable to compete, starting with a wing foil race.
The full men’s elimination was completed today at the Tarifa Wing Pro, with strong conditions gusting up to 35 knots of south wind. In the end Balz Müller was the winner of the competition.
Balneario beach in Tarifa is the chosen location for this final Wingfoil World Tour event of 2020 – Tarifa Wing Pro, with 19 men and 4 women from 9 different countries ready to battle it out on the water.

It was the Final Day 04 of this GWA Wing Foil event. Today the Best Trick/ Best Surf Super Session was run in Fortaleza. We were excited to see what combinations of Freestyle and Surf our WingFoliers would have in store.
