The first international GWA (Global Wing Sports Association) event is taking place in the city of Fortaleza, Brazil from the 10th to 14th of November 2020. The GKA (Global Kitesports Association) has been coming to Fortaleza for many years now, but for the GWA Wing Foil tour this is the start of a new chapter.
The event is held at the beach front metropolis of Fortaleza. This Brazilian town offers an urban playground where skyscrapers meets sand, strong winds and a blue ocean. The perfect playground for wing foil action of the best riders in the world.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic all participants of this event had to undergo the procedure of a COVID-19 testing. Luckily all participants were tested COVID-19 negative.
So it was time for the riders to register for the event and for the colourful opening ceremony of the SuperFoil Fortaleza. Traditional dancers welcomed the team and athletes to the city of Fortaleza.

Video highlights of the Roca Cup 2022 – the Roca Cup 2022 by Ecowave association took place from April 8th – 10th in France, Hyeres, L’Almanarre. Wing Foil pros like Balz Müller, Titouan Galea or Olivia Piana were part of the competition.
