Mondial du Vent 2023 report
The Mondial du Vent 2023 kicked off with a bang as strong Tramontana winds swept across the competition venue, allowing us to run the competition from sunrise to sunset on the first day. The GWA Wingfoil World Tour event in Leucate was on from the first second!
We completed the women’s Surf-Freestyle division, and made it to the men’s finals, but the wind dropped and we were unable to finish the men’s division. As a result, the final results for the men’s Surf-Freestyle saw a joint first place for our two finalists, Alan Fedit and Xavi Corr, and a joint third place for Balz Muller and Axel Gerard.

Light winds at Mondial du Vent 2023
The rest of the week was met with light winds, which allowed us focus on the Freefly-Slalom discipline. Despite the challenging conditions, we managed to complete two full eliminations for the men and three for the women.
It was a true showcase of talent, skill, and perseverance from all the participants, and we couldn’t have been more thrilled with the results.
